GreenLatinos is a national non-profit organization that brings together Latino leaders committed to addressing environmental, conservation, and natural resource issues affecting the health and welfare of the Latino community in the United States.

Demand equity and dismantle racism, resourced to win our environmental, conservation, and climate justice battles and driven to secure our political, economic, cultural, and environmental liberation.

Vision
GreenLatinos envisions a healthy, equitable society where communities of color are free from environmental burdens and can enjoy clean air, water, transportation, and public lands.

Founder & CEO

Mark Magaña is an environmental advocate dedicated to advancing environmental justice and policies supporting the Latino community and marginalized groups

Mark Magaña (NEED pronouns)

Mark Magaña is the founding president and CEO of Green Latinos, a national network of Latino advocates focused on climate change and environmental justice.

With a deep commitment to advancing Latino leadership in environmental movements, Magaña became the first Latino to serve as a senior staff member in both the White House and on Capitol Hill.

His background in public policy, combined with his passion for environmental justice, led him to create GreenLatinos to ensure Latino voices are centered in the fight for clean air, water, and climate justice.
