Founder

Bri’Anna Horne, a Baltimore-born scientist, educator, rock climber, artist, and outdoor enthusiast, who founded Pigtown Climbs after years of working on equity and community development

Bri Horne (she/her)

Her efforts focus on strengthening the connections between Black and Brown communities with the outdoors, healing, and each other.

Through her experiences with scientific and outdoor institutions, she identified gaps in access, leadership, and support for Black and Brown individuals.

Inspired to address these challenges, Bri’Anna began rock climbing in 2018 and saw its potential for community building and wellness and founded Pigtown Climbs in August 2020.
