This is Zero Hour

Who We Are: Zero Hour is a youth-led movement creating entry points, training, and resources for new young activists and organizers (and adults who support our vision) wanting to take concrete action around climate change. Together, we are a movement of unstoppable youth organizing to protect our rights and access to the natural resources and a clean, safe, and healthy environment that will ensure a livable future where we not just survive, but flourish.

Our Mission: The mission of Zero Hour is to center the voices of diverse youth in the conversation around climate and environmental justice.

Our Vision: We are committed to driving meaningful action and creating real impact. Through advocacy, education, and grassroots initiatives, we strive to:

  • Amplify Youth Voices: We want the voices of young people to be heard, but also considered in decisions affecting our planet’s future.

  • Advocate for Climate Action: We work tirelessly to hold decision-makers accountable for implementing effective climate solutions.

  • Foster Community Engagement: We create meaningful spaces for dialogue and collaboration, empowering local communities to take charge of their sustainable future.

  • Promote Environmental Justice: We stand alongside marginalized communities disproportionately affected by climate change, advocating for equitable solutions.

  • Urge Elected Officials: We want all elected officials to use this platform as their guide to take immediate and meaningful action on climate change.

Location: This is Zero Hour is based in Maryland and hosts youth climate marches across the country.
