Resource Hub
We produce accessible digital and print resources—from toolkits, podcasts, short films, mini-documentaries, and zines—to fill the gap in environmental justice education. Our goal is to increase awareness, deepen understanding, and expand access to intersectional environmentalism for educators, professionals, and individuals who want to take meaningful action for people and planet.

The Intersectional Environmentalist
by Leah Thomas
The Intersectional Environmentalist examines the inextricable link between environmentalism, racism, and privilege, and promotes awareness of the fundamental truth that we cannot save the planet without uplifting the voices of its people -- especially those most often unheard. Written by IE founder Leah Thomas featuring excerpts from over 20 activists and educators. It’s been adopted into classrooms around the U.S., selected as the common experience read for UCLA in 2022, and continues to serve as an introduction for intersectional environmentalism.
The Joy Report
The Joy Report is a podcast celebrating climate solutions and environmental justice through stories grounded in intersectionality, culture, and optimism. Hosted by environmental justice advocate and attorney Arielle King, each episode breaks down complex climate and social issues in a clear, accessible, and joy-centered way. From radical imagination and ocean justice to Indigenous sovereignty, landback, and culturally rooted approaches to sustainability, The Joy Report uplifts the voices and movements shaping a more just and hopeful future for people and planet.
IE Mini Docs
Our mini-documentaries explore the intersection of climate and community through intimate, place-based storytelling. From reclaiming erased histories in the environmental movement to celebrating joy and mindfulness in nature, each film uplifts the voices of Black, Indigenous, and people of color who are leading the way toward a more just and equitable future for people and planet.

The IE Agenda
Through interviews, poetry, visual art, studies, and educational resources, the IE Agenda highlights the voices of BIPOC agriculturalists, teachers, healers, organizers and more, shaping and evolving the environmental movement. To address a historically exclusive publishing industry that often leaves out critical voices, this legacy zine project served a tool for reclaiming the environmental movement through diverse voices and their intersecting identities.
