Julie Mai

Board Member

Julie Mai (she/her) is a creative impact and sustainability strategist based in Los Angeles, working at the intersection of social enterprise, climate solutions, and strategic communications. She collaborates with clients across public and private sectors, including energy, automotive, fashion, and social impact organizations, to develop and execute impactful campaigns, partnerships, and events. Julie co-launched and continues to work on the Invested in Climate podcast, a platform focused on climate solutions education and action.

Julie has activated on a range of issues, from human rights and public health to economic empowerment and racial justice, with her work featured by outlets such as the US Department of Energy, New York Times, and LA Times.

She holds degrees in Health Education with a focus on Community-based Public Health and an MBA with concentrations in corporate social responsibility, sustainable enterprise, and managerial leadership.

Diandra Marizet Esparza

Diandra Marizet Esparza is an environmental justice advocate, community cultivator, operational strategist and writer whose work resides where culture meets environmentalism to support equitable systems for people + planet. She is the Executive Director of Intersectional Environmentalist, and contributing writer to “The Intersectional Environmentalist: How to Dismantle Systems of Oppression to Protect People + Planet”.
