Intersectional Environmentalist and The Eyes & Ears Agency invite you to join the Earth Sessions community to celebrate music, art, and community action 🦋

Our upcoming Earth Sessions in BK during Climate Week NYC will be the fifth offering from our ongoing series of community driven environmental justice concerts. These intimate events combine art with activism, in order to hold space and create accessible, joyful, and educational moments for people with intersectional identities to find community and learn about climate justice.

The name Gaia comes from the Greek goddess of the Earth. Gaia Music showcases sustainability within the music space by supporting local and ethical organizations, offering equitable pay to all its musicians, and advocating for diverse programming featuring new and local artists. Carolina founded Gaia as a way to integrate her love for music and sustainability. She hopes that more musicians will see the impact and value of their art on our world and the communities around us.

Gaia Music Collective is a network of musicians offering creative and contemporary programs in the New York City area.

We’re thrilled to foster this joyful space and welcome you to our manifestation of a future rooted in environmental justice, resistance, joy, art, and advocacy through Earth Sessions.

The event will feature an educational panel hosted by IE’s very own, Kiana Kazemi, with reps from The Hood Hikers and more. There will also be a special string quartet performance from Gaia Music Collective featuring Carolina Díaz Chan (viola), Tiffany Weiss (violin), Calvin Chan (cello), and Hajnal Pivnick (violin), covering some of your favorite artists including Frank Ocean, Yebba, and Olivia Rodrigo!
