Neha Misra (she/her) is an award-winning climate justice leader, movement builder, and creative visionary. Neha's interdisciplinary practice builds bridges between private, collective, and planetary healing and justice. Her global climate justice work is guided by her roots as a daughter of the global majority from India and a first-generation immigrant on Turtle Island. As a lifelong solar energy champion, Neha is proud to call a solar-powered community in the Washington, DC metro area her adopted home. Neha serves as the inaugural Global Ambassador of Remote Energy, bringing solar energy access, skills, and livelihoods to build thriving communities around the world. As Co-Founder and Chief Collaboration Officer of Solar Sister, Neha's climate leadership has delivered 12,000+ grassroots, women-led solar and clean cooking solutions to over five million people across Africa.

As a 2023–2025 Hamiltonian Artists Fellow, Neha built solidarity between climate and arts ecosystems. She is a recipient of Nootana Washington DC's 2024 "Preronadayini/Inspiration Giver" Distinguished Creative Leadership Award, and the North Carolina Climate Justice Collective's 2024 TapRoot Arts Residency. She has been honored as a Presidential Leadership Scholar, and as a Regenerative Artivist by the Design Science Studio—a partnership of the Buckminster Fuller Institute and habRitual for leading planet-conscious artists. Neha is a member of the Green Leadership Trust, and a 2022 Public Voices Fellow on the Climate Crisis — an initiative of the Yale Program on Climate Change Communication and the OpEd Project to change who writes history. Neha's global impact has been featured by Forbes, National Geographic, Next Billion, Ms. Magazine, Mothers of Invention, Miami Art Week Regenaissance, and Humanity Rising.
