Alaska Community Action on Toxics (ACAT)
ACAT works with communities, implementing effective strategies to limit their exposure to toxic substances and to protect and restore the ecosystems that sustain them and their way of life. We work to eliminate the production and release of harmful chemicals by industry and military sources, ensure the public’s right-to-know, achieve policies based on the precautionary principle, and support the rights of Indigenous peoples.
Black Girls Do Bike
We are dedicated to fostering and nurturing a vibrant community of women of color who share a passion for cycling. Our primary focus lies in promoting the joy of cycling, particularly among women and girls of color.
Chugach Regional Resources Commission
Our organization’s mission is to promote Tribal sovereignty and the protection of our subsistence lifestyle through the development and implementation of Tribal natural resource management programs to assure the conservation, sound economic development, and stewardship of the natural resources in the traditional use areas of the Chugach region.

The Gwich’in Steering Committee was formed in 1988 in response to proposals to drill for oil in the Sacred Place Where Life Begins, the coastal plain of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge.

The Northern Alaska Environmental Center promotes conservation of the environment and sustainable resource stewardship in Interior and Arctic Alaska through education and advocacy.
IE Amplified Orgs
The IE Amplifier Program is a media capacity-building initiative that aims to amplify the efforts of participating organizations across IE’s media ecosystem. Through the IE Amplifier Program, Intersectional Environmentalist designs engaging social media assets, toolkits, videos, and other resources for participating organizations with the goal of connecting people with organizations leading intersectional approaches to environmentalism in their own communities.
